Event Details
Learn why the Spanish built missions in Texas in the 16th and 17th centuries—and what impact they had on American Indians who lived in the area. Investigate the goals, struggles, and lasting effects of the Spanish mission system and whether these missions were a success, a failure, or something in between.
This class is designed for participants in grades 4–8.
