Pet Vet Day

If you like animals, make sure you come to The Children’s Museum on Saturday, April 9th!

We are excited to welcome Dr. Joy Lucas the Veterinarian from Upstate Animal Medical Center and her wonderful pets. Learn about what a Vet does, how to take care of pets, and meet her friendly dog, parrot, and hedgehog from 10am to 12pm. Then from 12:30pm to 3:30pm create pet themed crafts with our guests from Katrina Trask Nursery School and pet/play with adoptable puppies from Adirondack Save a Stray! And after these activities, explore our Pet Vet exhibit. All day the Museum will be collecting items and monetary donations for Adirondack Save a Stray. Those who bring items to donate (such as towels, pet food, treats, toys, etc.) willreceive one FREE Admission to the Museum (an $8 value).
