Number the Stars

Adapted by Dr. Douglas W. Larche from the juvenile novel by Lois Lowry, Number the Stars is set during the tumultuous time of World War II, and seen through the eyes of two adolescent girls. The play presents a moving adventure inspired by real life events, as the Danish Resistance smuggles almost the entire Jewish population of Nazi occupied Denmark across the sea to safety in Sweden.
