New York State's annual fair, held at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse, the last two weekends of summer (weekend before Labor Day, and Labor Day weekend)

The New York State Fair has always showcased New York's proud farming tradition, hosting nationally renowned horse and cattle shows, 4-H competitions, and the fresh produce grown locally by New York's farmers.

A visit to the State Fair is a great way to celebrate our state's farmers and everything New York agriculture has to offer. There's something for everyone - from nationally-acclaimed performers to wild animals, petting zoos, and a thrilling midway with rides and games. It's a great way to spend a summer day - or several - with the entire family right here in the Empire State.

No matter where you come from, or how you get there, the New York State Fair is the perfect end to the summer season. This year is sure to be a Fair to remember, and we invite you to be a part of the tradition!
