Musicians of Ma'alwyck

Musicians of Ma’alwyck (MofM) was formed in 2000 by Ann-Marie Barker Schwartz. Taking its name from the 1712 house in Glenville, NY, the group presents music audiences may have heard in Albany’s early years. MofM brings history to life through provocative musical performances in the Greater Capital Region and beyond. The ensemble accomplishes this mission by presenting flexible-size, repertory-driven ensembles; varying instrumentation; drawing inspiration from historic venues and distinctive sites; creating programs that are accessible to diverse audiences; and cultivating relationships that enhance the meaning of the performances.
