Mummy Birthday!

We're hosting a fun day to celebrate the 106th anniversary of the arrival of the Albany Institute's mummies!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Children are invited to bring a doll or stuffed animal to learn about the mummification process by mummifying their toy. Fun family activities also include face painting and storytelling!
Schedule:
- 12-4:30PM Mummify a toy in the Art Studio
- 1-3PM Face painting with Tina Rodriguez
- 3PM Tales of Ancient Egypt storytelling with Mary Murphy
These great programs are free with museum admission!
