Join Albany Chess Center for our Juneteenth Chess Camp, a one-day holiday program for children ages 5 - 12. Whether your child is new to chess or already has tournament experience, this camp provides an engaging day of learning, practice, and fun.
Throughout the day, campers will participate in structured chess lessons, guided practice sessions, training games, puzzles, and interactive activities designed to strengthen critical thinking, concentration, problem-solving, and sportsmanship. Our instructors work with students at their individual skill levels, creating a supportive environment where every child can learn and improve.
Campers will have opportunities to play friendly games, build confidence, make new friends, and develop their chess skills through a mix of instruction and hands-on play. The program is designed to be both educational and enjoyable, helping children stay engaged throughout the day.
Full-day and half-day options are available. Space is limited, and advance registration is recommended.
