Introduction to Contemplative Gardening

Contemplative gardening is the practice of bringing the mind, body, and natural world together through
mindfulness. Gardening provides us with the opportunity to be in contact with ourselves and nature through our five senses. By practicing meditation, we can develop concentration, calmness, awareness, and insight. We will explore the relationships among mental, physical, and environmental health. A yoga mat and cushion are recommended.
