This event is geared towards adults looking to make a difference. Whether you are a first time volunteer or an experienced veteran, this event will inspire positive change and equip you with the tools you need to take action.

- Meet local wildlife rehabilitator Kelly Martin and get a personal look at the native species in her care. Share your wildlife stories, ask questions, and learn tips on how to safely get injured wildlife to your local wildlife rehabilitator or you yourself can become involved in wildlife rehabilitation.
- Visit with Huyck Preserve staff and volunteers to learn about volunteer opportunities. Come hear how you can help with education programs, trail monitoring, and office work. Have a unique skill? Consider becoming a volunteer for events or a hike leader. New this year - learn all about Capturing the Huyck Preserve, a new photography-based volunteer program. Whether you snap photos on your phone or use a digital camera we want to see the Preserve from your perspective.
- Follow Stewardship Coordinator Garrett Chisholm to learn how to identify and remove invasive species on the Preserve or at your home. Garrett will lead a hands-on walk to identify and remove invasive species. Tools and gloves will be provided. Wear sturdy shoes, long pants, and long sleeves.
