An all new summer experience for 3 to 6-year-olds at The Doane Stuart School, SCAMP = learning in our new “STEAM* Junior” room, plus Reading, Music, Dance, Drama & tons of outdoor summer fun! (* Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math).
Our teachers are designing the daily curriculum to include the traditional three R’s (reading, writing and arithmetic) as well as science, arts, music and more – all wrapped up in fun! Our teachers make learning to read and to solve problems exciting, and they make exploring the physical world natural.
Our day will be structured to accommodate our working parents and the needs and wants of families and kids. We’ll open at 7:30 AM, design the core of the day between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, and continue activities until 5:30 PM. It’s all day care with lots of learning and creative play.
We’ll play in the gym, on the school’s outdoor playgrounds and field, and run between sprinklers for cooling off. Pertinent field trips will add to learning.
