Performance School of the Arts teaches an official Leap ‘N Learn Dance Program!
Leap ‘N Learn is an effective, safe, progressive, and developmentally appropriate dance program for three- to twelve-year-old dancers. The syllabus combines the healthiest practices for teaching children ballet technique, while simultaneously encouraging pretend play amongst the youngest students to maintain a positive and fun environment.
Capitalizing on the naturally occurring cognitive and neural development of children, the Leap ‘N Learn curriculum provides tools and shares knowledge necessary for the creation of a successful learning environment. Through an appreciation and utilization of natural development, students in a Leap ‘N Learn program will acquire motor, cognitive, and social skills beneficial for later life roles, including that of an adult dancer.
We teach a variety of Dance styles for our students 6 yrs and older. Included with Ballet in our Dance classes are Lyrical, Hip Hop, Tap and Jazz styles and techniques. Students enjoy smaller class sizes for more personalized attention. Register today and your young star with big dreams will develop the love and skills of dance that will last for a lifetime.
