A OOMS AND SONS DAIRY FARM

Ooms and Sons is a multigenerational dairy farm that has been producing milk in the town for over 70 years. We are the majority supplier for Beecher’s Cheese in Manhattan and belong to the Cabot/McCadam cooperative. Cows are milked with robotic milking machines – tours on the hour from noon to 4pm.

Arthur’s Point Farm specializes in growing and selling a variety of native and locally-adapted cultivars of nuts, fruits, and other ecologically-valuable trees, shrubs, and perennial wildflowers of superior genetic selection. Our plants are 1-4 years old and sold both as bare-roots and in specialized root-prune pots made from recycled plastic bottles. The farm also produces probiotic biochars that build soil health, recycle nutrients, and sequester carbon. Guided tours only, 10am and 1pm. Join us!

Hawthorne Valley Farm is a 900-acre Demeter-certified Biodynamic® farm dedicated to farming holistically and producing high-quality food. Our farm includes dairy cows, vegetables, a 300-plus member CSA, an organic creamery and artisan bakery, and more! Our on-site Farm Store is a full-line natural foods and grocery store (open daily 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m.) with a deli bar serving fresh organic meals daily. Join us for guided tours with Farmer Betsy at 11 a.m. or at 2 p.m. Tours will meet at the Farm Store pavilion. If you’d like to watch the cows come in from pasture for milking, join us around 2:30 p.m. Come any time to shop in our farm store, enjoy a picnic lunch outside, and to visit our pastured pigs out by the hoop barns.

Welcome to one of the most diverse equine facilities in the nation! Established in 1977, LBF has been successfully blending equine rescue with educational, vocational and therapeutic programs for 46 years. Riding instruction and summer camps are also offered. Tours will be available on the hour between 11 am and 1 pm. Children are welcome at Little Brook Farm but must always be accompanied by an adult for safety’s sake, both the children’s and the horses’ safety. We have horses with many different medical needs, and therefore, they cannot be fed by anyone but farm staff.

We are a family-owned business started in 1978 by Donna and Stanley Staron. We grow a variety of fruits and veggies, with potatoes being our largest crop. We also sell fruit from other local farms. We will be offering the fruits of our labor at our roadside stand during the Chatham Farm Tour. Our regular hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 to 5:30, Saturday, 9:00 to 5:00, and Sunday, 10:00 to 4:00. June through October.
