Discover the world of birding at our Beginner's Bird Walk on Sunday, May 19, at 8:30am. Join Virginia Society of Ornithology's Phil Kenny on a morning walk around Meadowlark's 95 acres, take in the beauty of the natural surroundings, and learn the basics of birding.

Online reservations are required as space is limited. There is an $6, nonrefundable program fee. This is a great program for first time birdwatchers and families with children ages 6 and older. This one-hour walk will be over hilly terrain and uneven surfaces. Participants should bring a water bottle, wear appropriate shoes, and dress for the weather. Loaner binoculars will be available. Please check in at the Visitor Center for this program.

Meadowlark Botanical Gardens is located off of Beulah Road, at 9750 Meadowlark Gardens Court, in Vienna, Virginia.
