Amsterdam Cup

The City of Amsterdam will be holding the 1st Annual Amsterdam Cup. Teams of 12 will compete in four events, Golf, a Relay Race, Bocce and Softball. Great team building event for your business or a great weekend to spend with your friends!

Event 1 - Golf/Opening Ceremony
Friday, July 23, at 4 pm
Each team sends one foursome to play nine holes at Amsterdam Muni. Team members not golfing can cheer their team on and partake in dinner and drinks afterward. Prize of $500 for winning team plus the chance to win traditional golf tournament contest like closest to the pin and longest drive.

Event 2 - Relay Race

Each team sends four members to compete in the Amsterdam Cup Relay Race on the MVGO. First place wins $500

Event 3 - Bocce Tournament
Saturday, July 24, at 9 am
Each team sends a group of four to compete in the Amsterdam Cup Bocce Tournament at the Port Jackson Bocce Club. The tournament will be double elimination and have a first prize of $500.

Event 4 - Softball
Saturday, July 24, at 1 pm
The four teams accumulating the most points compete in five inning softball games in the Amsterdam Cup semi-finals. The two winning teams then play a five-inning game with the winner being declared the 1st Annual Amsterdam Cup Champion. Lunch will be provided to all teams whether playing in the Softball game or not.

The four teams accumulating the most points compete in five inning softball games in the Amsterdam Cup semi-finals. The two winning teams then play a five-inning game with the winner being declared the 1st Annual Amsterdam Cup Champion. Lunch will be provided to all teams whether playing in the Softball game or not.

Shuttleworth Park
All prizes will be awarded that evening at the Amsterdam Mohawks game at Shuttleworth Park. All team members will receive free entry and a meal deal which includes ball park food with a drink and dessert. All family members will receive free entry. To end the night there will be a giant firework show.

GRAND PRIZE - $1,500 first prize and their team name engraved on the Amsterdam Cup.

Second-place team will receive $500.
All Participants receive Amsterdam Cup shirt, Friday night dinner at Amsterdam Muni, Saturday lunch during softball game, Saturday night dinner at Amsterdam Mohawks game and the chance to win $3,500 in cash prizes! Family and friends are encouraged to attend all events and dinners and receive free admission to Amsterdam Mowhawks game. They may also pre-purchase meals at the golf course, the softball cgame, and the Mohawks game.
Any business that enters a team becomes a corporate sponsor for an additional $500.
