The Tugboat Roundup is a gathering of tugboats and other vessels and a celebration of New York's maritime industry. Friday: Tug parade, live music, vendors, TBR Trivia Saturday: Tug tours, tug talks, vendors, boat rides, live music, children's activities, fireworks Sunday: Tug tours, tug talks, Tug Chug 5K, vendors, boat rides, live music, children's activities, closing ceremonies

Friday, September 6th

3:30pm: Tugs muster in Albany for the Tugboat Parade

3:30 to 6: Parade heads up Hudson River. Click here for viewing sites and schedule.

4pm to 6pm Live Music with Canaler George Ward

6pm Tugboat Parade arrives. (Time is approximate, follow us on Facebook for live updates)

6pm to 9pm Live music with Harmonic Duo

All day: Boat rides (fee), vendors, music, kids activities, and more

10am to 6pm: Docks open for tugboat tours

10am to 3pm: Waterford Harbor Farmers, Bouncy Slide, and Fire Safety Obstacle Course at Lock 2

10am: Kids Line Tossing Contest at Lock 2 (no registration required)

10am to 1pm: Live music with Boys of Wexford at the Hurst Harbor Center

11am: Kayaking for Meso kayakers come through Lock 2

11am: Tug Talk, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center. Sarah Wassberg Johnson, of the Hudson River Maritime Museum presents “Hudson River Lighthouses”

12pm to 3pm: Pony rides at Lock 2

12:30pm: Tug Talk, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center. John Callaghan presents “History of the Tugboat Roundup”

1pm to 4pm: Live music with Three Quarters North at the Hurst Harbor Center

2pm Tug Talk, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center. Hilary Russell, of the Wooden Boat School, presents “The History of Russell Towing”

5pm to 8pm Live music with Lou’s Blues at the Hurst Harbor Center

8:30 Fireworks!

10am to 1pm: Live music and interactive entertainment with Mark Rust

10am to 3pm Fire Safety Obstacle Course, Waterford Harbor Farmers Market, and Bouncy Slide at Lock 2

10am - 2pm: Face painting with Fancy Face Creations at Lock E2 Park

11am Tug Talk, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center. Art Cohn, of the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum presents “The Matton Shipyard”

12:00pm Tugboat Nose to Nose Competition

12pm to 3pm Pony rides at Lock 2

12:30pm Tug Talk, upstairs in the Hurst Harbor Center, Ben Grudinskas, designer and builder of the Atlantic Hunter II presents, "The Mini Tugboats of the Waterford Tugboat Roundup and the World ”

1:30 Line Tossing Contest at the Hurst Harbor Center
