Shibori is an ancient Japanese way to dye patterns on cloth using folding techniques to keep the dye from saturating all the fibers, thus revealing a pleasing number of patterns. Appropriate for ages 12 and up.

Shibori Fabric Dyeing Class

Shibori is an ancient Japanese way to dye patterns on cloth using folding techniques to keep the dye from saturating all the fibers, thus revealing a pleasing number of patterns. Appropriate for ages 12 and up. Please wear black or dark clothing and old shoes. If you have long hair, a scarf or scrunchy would be wise. Each person will leave with a 1 yard piece of dyed cloth or a 27” square kitchen towel. Please indicate your preference when you register. Register soon: class size: minimum 5 persons, maximum 10.
