Register now to celebrate social justice at the
University at Albany’s Race for Equity 5K
on October 8, 2022
UAlbany’s Race for Equity 5K celebrates civil rights and social justice accomplishments in the United States and raises awareness about current injustices. Thirty-three “social justice stations” will be set up in Bob Ford Field, each dedicated to memorializing a United States social justice accomplishment, recognizing civil rights leaders, or raising awareness about a current inequity. Each table will offer educational information about their station topic and a giveaway. “Equity 5K bags,” used to collect giveaways and information, are provided to the first 500 participants to sign-in on the day of the race.
The event is open to everyone and FREE for UAlbany and K-12 students!

Time: 12-3pm (Check-in 10:30-11:45am)
Starting location: SEFCU Arena Parking Lot by Casey Stadium
