School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet

The School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet is a Premier Classical Dance School in the Capital Region, an official school of the Albany Berkshire Ballet, providing classical ballet, jazz, tap, and modern dance throughout the year. The school offers classes for ages 3 years old to adult.

CAMPS

The School of the Albany Berkshire Ballet’s Summer Dance Program provides dance for all levels over the summer.

The SABB summer program offers elementary and preballet level dance camps, intermediate and advanced level dance intensives and weekly classes for children (3 years and up) and adults.

Intensive weeks are half day concentrated programs for the aspiring dancer at the intermediate and advanced level, consisting of daily ballet classes and pointe technique complemented by variations, modern, jazz, yoga, Pilates, Strength and conditioning, stage make-up or nutrition.

Our elementary and preballet dance camps are half day camps and created with the young dancer in mind. Technique classes are age appropriate and incorporate all the tools necessary to make it a fun learning environment. Incorporating arts and crafts and fun choreography keep them engaged and excited for the next day.

Weekly classes are offered at each level for dancers wishing to continue their study or start new in this 5 week program of classes. PreBallet, Intro to Ballet, Elementary Ballet, Intermediate with Pointe and Intermediate/ Advanced Classes are offered.

Classes offered include PreBallet, Introductory through Advanced Ballet and Pointe, Elementary through Advanced Modern, Elementary Jazz and Tap, Adult Classes
